From 2020 to 2023, I worked for a home decor company, focusing mainly on bathroom vanities and storage. With the brief received from our retail clients, I would build products in CAD and then have them rendered by a subcontractor once approved by management. Being the first designer on the product development team meant that (in addition to my actual design work responsibilities) I was tasked with creating design methodologies, implementing new software, recruiting and mentoring new designers on the team, as well as maintaining an archive of commonly-used parts and finishes.
